What is the purpose of Bowditch 2017 (or Bowditch from the start of the GPS era for that matter)? If it is a navigation encyclopedia then Loran and Gee and Consol and Lunars and Q codes and station pointers etc etc should be included. If not, then in this electronic age when navigation is no longer a profession it could probably be much slimmer.
Is the Admiralty Manual of Navigation still in print?
