Thanks all for your work on this. I will be downloading your material since I always want to have a Bowditch when I pull up the anchor.
As far a nav techniques, I stay away from acupuncture due to pain and risk of infection, but the herbs and birds are excellent for navigation. The herbs will prevent the navigator from getting scurvy while he studies the birds to figure out which way land is.
On a different subject, thanks Stan for finding a major text misalignment problem on my Android app. This occurs with high density screens. If anyone downloaded NavPak Android beta, and the dialog boxes do not look right, do not despair, a fix is in the works, and a new version should be posted in a few days.
Thanks & Regards,
Pete

I think it likely that I will print this out and take it down to Staples to get it spiral bound, as I prefer to not be sitting at my computer when doing recreational reading.
If you are like me in this respect, you may find the attached Table of Contents (in PDF as well as DOCX) something you will want to print and slip in among the pages.
When I saw that there was to be a unit on "Alternative Navigation Techniques", I was looking forward to something that used accupuncture or organic herbs, or at least Polynesian bird observations. But alas! it was not to be. On the plus side, perhaps I will figure out, and this time remember, what the word "bathymetry" means.
Robin, I will be including your list of errata in my bound edition. Thanks for your work on this.
Bob
