Still 11 Aug in California.
Whilst some may have desks bigger than billiard tables, more screens than a sports bar, and a library that needs a sliding ladder, with a full keyboard and air conditioning, I write this lying on my back in my sea berth. My old iPad does not allow windowing, and reviewing text by scrolling often results in it all disappearing, and having to start again with my prodder thing.
When I wrote my last post it was blowing SW 50 kts, and I risked losing power and wifi, so fired off too soon. Culpa mea.
Two typos in my post: The speed of advance of the eclipse was 20 miles per minute, not mph, as predictive text insisted. The position given, written in the dark in grease point on a flying suit knee pad, should have read N 50°00’ W 000°50’.
