Just touching base between boat trips, I didn’t have time to go to the detail you did Frank, but I argued as follows. The Moon is about the same size as the tower. It also subtends about ½ a degree. Using the 1 in 57 rule, the photographer must be at about 21x57/ ½ = 2394m, i.e. between 2 and 2.5 km. DaveP
