Stern looks a lot like CW Morgan but I am guessing that like the Bounty in the 50's this whaler was specially built by the company to meet the need.
As I understand it, Morgan is no longer sea worthy and doesn't take to sea anymore. and barring any other working whaler they'd have to supply their own or genrate one on a computer for the long shots.
Look at how the computer generation made All is Lost the movie is turned out to be.
Aside, there is a wooden frame boat builder in Salisbury MD that might have been called upon to build a boat like this. Recenlty the yard built a full-sized Mississippi Stern Wheeler for the Casino trade now plying the Mississippi River.
The company is called Chesapeake Shipbuilding http://www.chesapeakeshipbuilding.com/ and the front page of the site shows pictures of the boats they've built.
The river boat is figured prominently.
