yes- mercury, sulfuric acid (in solder flux), gasoline (cleaning car parts),
airplane glue, Dope (model paint), Hydrogen Fluoride (etching glass), DMSO (transfers ANYthing through the skin), carbon tet. Evidently, they all have a certain preservative effect. BTW, Mercury is sold by the pound by many suppliers on the web.
