Two NavList members within the past few hours sent nearly identical posts about a comical article on gCaptain. Since they ended up in the message moderation queue by accident due to two (entirely unrelated!) technical issues, I'm combining them into one.

Lu Abel described it as:
"a tongue-in-cheek but serious article" about "becoming fixated on a ship's electronic chart display instead of using other navigation tools such as wisdom, windows, and radar...." 

And Jackson McDonald called it:
"A tongue-in-cheek article reflecting a real problem. The best cure, however, would include CN."
