    Strong black tea is an acquired taste. It had (has) a couple of advantages
    in the Australian outback. Making it requires boiling the water, which is
    often a good idea anyway, and drunk hot it tends to promote perspiration,
    giving at least the illusion of cooling one's body. You have to be there to
