Peter, that's a great photo! May I ask which camera you used and with what settings?
Thanks---it was taken with a Canon 40D DSLR, Canon's 85mm f/1.8 lens wide open, 4 second exposure, ISO 800.
No sidereal tracking, just the camera sitting on a tripod, so the stars are a bit trailed. Also the image is cropped to center the objects of interest.
