Thanks for that input, Stan. I can reproduce the input locking symptom using Google Sheets, albeit using a windows 10 device. Regardless of that, however, Astron (in either .xls or. xlsx format) doesn't seem to work in Google Sheets. Closer investigation shows that named variables (of which there are over 150) don't seem to be recognised when referenced by name.
May I suggest, Örjan, that you use Polaris Office as Stan suggests or download free Microsoft Excel for Android? Use the .xlsx version as Peter published at the beginning of this thread with either.
If anyone else reading this knows of a fix for Google Sheets to recognise named variables, maybe by using an Add-In, please let me know.
Bill Ritchie.

Bill and Örjan,
I downloaded the xlsx version onto my Samsung Galaxy S4, and it opened in Polaris Office, which came on the phone. The only problem was that I could also not initially edit the input fields, but it was because it opens as protected sheets. After I unprotected it, it worked fine. Could Örjan's problem be similar?
Stan

Hello Örjan,I have saved the published .xlsx version in .xls format, which I attach.Excel lists 22 'significant loss of function' occurrences and363 minor losses of fidelity, so please don't expect faultless operation. It isalso 50% larger! It works ok on my Android tablet running under Excel for Android - can'ttest it with Google spreadsheet unless I delete some other apps.Good luck with it,Bill Ritchie.

Hmm, I have trouble with this in my android devices.
all the other .xls spreadsheets from the .tar work but not the astron.xlsx, any "pure" xls version?
main trouble is that I can not edit the input fields in google spreadsheet app.
