What's to tell, Bill? Buy a laptop hard drive, or an Ipod, and there's a flyspeck on a circuit board that tells it acceleration in at least one axis, sometimes all three. The solid state gyros I know less about, last time I heard that stuff was still heavily classified (at least on the cutting edge) because the customers tend to have big budgets and big toys. You can find the commercial stuff online, and figure the classified stuff is at least ten years beyond what you can find.
