Thank’s for sharing your experience! You mentioned that you had taken Lunar observation. Could you post all the data related to this observation (date and time; sextant index correction; sextant reading; GPS coordinates; approximate temperature and pressure; height of eye (if you took the altitudes too, but this is unlikely); specific observational conditions (for example, ship rolling, strong wind).
Did you take one or multiple lunar distances? It would be interesting to calculate, how accurate your observation was. Your Lunar experience is unique, because the observation is taken at sea on board the ship. I will speculate: you may be the only person on our planet practicing lunars at sea. And that’s great!
