As the other writer noted, they can drift considerably between "updates" back to WWVB. Try comparing to time from a GPS unit or your computer (after doing an "resynchronize time"). Depends on the brand of clock -- I got one for free as part of a giveaway and it seems to keep excellent time between resynchronizations. At the same time, I helped a non-profit install a bunch of "atomic" wall clocks, only one in three can actually pick up WWVB's signal here in the SF area.
