time.gov is run by NIST and supposedly gives a display accurate to a few milliseconds.
As an example of its attempt to be as accurate as possible, one thing they do is estimate the time it takes the time signal to reach your computer and "advance" the clock by that much, ensuring that the time you see (and not the time when it is sent out) is "correct."
