I will do so the next time it's clear using a Sun sight.
Also, I've noticed that our GPS (Garmin Nuvi something or another) which is about 2 years old, takes a long time to acquire a signal at our present location. I assume it has something to do with the power lines which are about 300 feet away and a small residential ground based transformer. The power lines are near the road and are the regular ones on 'phone poles and not the tower type. To put it bluntly- we're in the middle of nowhere.
