    Thanks! If the navigator of the Charles W. Morgan was using a similar table, that would explain things nicely. However, on page 5 of the workbook, he uses a correction of 11' for an Ha of 27°31'. On he very next page, he uses a correction of 12' for an Ha of 26°06'. The only consistent thing he seems to have done was to use an 11' correction on every sight up until page 6. From then on he uses a 12' correction, regardless of the apparent altitude. Curious.
