I happened to notice that on Wednesday at around 16:25 UT the Earth will pass the 1 AU inbound mile post. Thanks to a question originally posed by Frank Reed http://fer3.com/arc/m2.aspx/Average-Sun-SD-FrankReed-jul-2021-g50933 we know that its semidiameter will then be equal to its time averaged value. We also know that the Sun will remain inside of 1 AU for the next 1/2 - e/π fraction of a year or about 180.7 days. For the derivation see http://fer3.com/arc/m2.aspx/Average-Sun-SD-Stuart-nov-2021-g51457
