Chuck, I was slightly north of there once with someone who was far more experienced at celestial than I. We had a short (but adequate) horizon and took sights at the same time, while underway in calm water. I used a Palm and as disappointed at my usual 2-mile error. They commented about unreliable electronic aids, reduced it on paper, and got a 900-odd mile error. Sometimes the computers work.Although I suppose I'd get a bumper case (rubber armored waterresistant case) or pouch if I were taking a Palm to sea regularly.
