Sam. I’ve already sent off two messages to NavList this morning, so I’ll leave answering this one until tomorrow if you don’t mind. I’ve also got to revise spherical geometry first. As I said, it’s all bagpipe music to me at the moment. I can barely remember “some people have coal black hair through perpetual brushing” and “all silly tabby cats”. I see Bowditch is available on-line? It’s more popular in the USA than the UK, so I’ve not looked at it before. Please will you give me a chapter and a paragraph number rather than a page number? It’ll be easier to find the correct section that way. Dave

Here are the coordinates;
Departure point- N 39d 58min W 075d 12.2min
Destination point- N 41d 43.5min W 075d 02.5min
The formula i use was mentioned previously and found in Bowditch page 332.
The problem could very well be my calculator. It probably has some sort of setting that messing things up.
