Good point!
Rounding off, Polaris at 000 means you are anywhere north of the equator. If you can see Polaris, it’s probably dark, or at 0600, dawn, where you are.
Altair at 270 means you are about 9 degrees North ( Dec 8-55.2 ) and anywhere from, almost, under Altair to about 90 degrees east of it.
I don’t have my books but it seems you are on a 90 degree arc at 9 degrees above the equator - not much of a fix.
Im having a problem wrapping my head around 0600 local, DR longitude unknown, and UT unknown without doing trial and error solutions. I’d like to hear someone talk through that.
