Santa lives at the north pole so every direction is South from there. The Sun won't be rising until next spring. Not sure how tall Santa is but lets say his height of eye is 6 ft. with boots on. To start his walk I have the upper limb of the Sun rising at UT 09:30:00 on the 18th of March (his next birthday). Declination of the Sun at 0°54' S, Hs upper limb 0°, azimuth 140°.
