Murray Peake kindly made the instructions readable including the bit that says “With this schedule, the 3-minute early and the three minutes late have the same magnitude of motion but the opposite sign. Therefore, the three intercepts can be averaged for a single LOP”.
Smartarsed student thinks for a bit, eyes suddenly brighten up, and the student asks the instructor “Sir/Ma’am, is there ever a time when this isn’t true?”
Incidentally, am I the only one who found the nomenclature confusing? DaveP
