Thank you very much for the scan, Murray. I was only expecting the 51-40 to contain an image or two, but alas, it’s a proper tutorial! This is very helpful.

Gary: I took another look at the one minute adjustments provided by the Polhemus computer. Looking at the example pre-computation form (attached below) in the Polhemus manual, it uses a three minute shooting schedule! The mystery behind three-minute adjustments remains (at least for me).
So my new assumption is that one-minute adjustments won the adjustment race; as insinuated by the Navigator article, they are “consonant with any shooting schedule."
