No doubt, your academic background is superior to mine, which was limited to a couple of Power Squadron courses, perusing through some books on the subject, and NavList. Actually, your practical background might also be superior to mine, as I'm essentialy a "back yard navigator", via an artificial horizon, except for shooting the sun, moon, planets and or attempts at star shots when we get down to the beach in North Carolina.
In any case, the following might be of interest to you, possibly helpful too. They are Power Squadron forms, as follows:
1. USPS Sight Reduction Form SR 96b
2. USPS Constant Latitude Scale Small Area Plotting Sheet.
They used to be available via the USPS web site, don't kbow about their latest version. If youcan't obtain them, let me know, might be able to mail you reproduceable copies.
Regards.
