Just after the photo was taken I tilted my head down to look at the artificial horizon!!!!! It must have been late afternoon because I am looking slightly south of west.
Go to 40° 58.810 S 175° 7.015 E on Google Street View. Note that the sign was not in place when the Street View car went through.
I have been wanting to take this photo for a long time.
