Dear Gary,
Thank you for the A5/A7 PDF, very informative indeed.
As I have a set of prisms (from a binocular) - seems I could try hacking a compact octant-like device. The A5 and A7 have the most logical placement of the bubble-chamber in the optical path (among the devices I saw so far), I wonder why other makes and models have those over-complicated designs (requiring additional mirrors, often - semi-transparent ones).
