Great idea,Frank.
To take it even further, especially for practice sights, has anyone actually fitted a video camera to the telescope and filmed the sight? I suppose the ultimate would be some kind of "heads-up" display including accurate GMT, the sextant angle etc.
Any electronic /video enthusiast take up the challenge? Probably beyond me.
