Frank, is there a reference work about navigation that you would feel comfortable in recommending as having a similar scope as Bowditch but which avoids the pitfall of mediocrity?
Or is mediocrity the unfortunate fate of any single publication that tries to deliver such a broad treatment of navigation?
If the latter is the case, what would be your short list of best-of-breed volumes on the various aspects of marine navigation?
