I doubt this has anything to do with NavList. This list doesn't have any service that rejects messages as spam, though sometimes messages are held for moderation (review by a manager) --for example, if they include pricing information, or they include certain spammy keywords. When those messages are reviewed, if it is obvious that they are legitimate messages, they get approved and distribute normally as soon as I or Dan Allen see them.

 

I suspect that the "bounced messages" you are referring to were sent to the "Sextants" list, hosted through Yahoo groups. Could that be the case? I follow that list strictly as a lurker, and you exchanged a couple of messages there with Alex about Plath sextant numbers. If you are, in fact, having trouble posting to the "Sextants" list, there's no reason you can't also discuss this topics on the navigation list (NavList). It's on-topic, and there is very high overlap of the membership between the two lists.

 

Incidentally, for those who didn't notice, the message delays that were occurring two days ago have cleared up, and there are no gaps that I can see in the delivery.
