Sven still makes them on demand. Expensive for what it does but about the price of a Davis MK 25 plastic sextant. The Bris is not as practical as a sextant so I recommend starting with an actual sextant. Metal is best new or used. Then if you get the bug go for the Bris. I made one out of camera UV filters and microscope slides but it was difficult so I say buy one from Sven. See link.
