Thank you Frank for trying to encourage the interaction with my post.
In the mean time I have been reading most of the post ( if not all) related to Bris sextant.
My mayor problem is that I can not understand well the process of calibrating and use this type of "sextant " with an artificial horizon, those ones that are some sort of recipients filled with water or oil.
How is it supposed that I will have to align the refractions of the sun images? I understand the process using the sea horizon but not the way of doing it on land with an artificial horizon.
Thanks
