The discussion of using .2724 as a constant or degrees is interesting. In calculating moon s.d. : in the n.a. march 11: hp is 61.2' (1.02deg) and the given moon s.d. 16.7'. If either is multiplied by the the constant : .2724 then 61.2' = 16.671' and 1.02 deg. = 16.668'. If you convert .2724 as a degree it equals 16.344' if you use the h.p. as a factor 1.02 then = 16.671' and 61.2 = 1000.25' ÷60= 16.671' . So you don't have to convert to deg from mins. And you can use either number as a factor. Just playing with numbers.
