Alex Probably more than you are planning to spend, but Celestaire has two types of aircraft bubble sextants. I suspect the downside of any bubble for you would be the level of accuracy. If I am reading the posts by list members and the catalog, one to two minutes of an arc is about the best you can expect. If you can live with 3' to 5', the cardboard sextant with bubble can be lighted, and won't break the bank.
