What an interesting name. ------------- I understand you are referring to the Link A12 sextant. Thank you for the notes. I had already found the method with this sextant as mine was 2 degrees 'out'. I had to. It was quite easy to adjust with the main clamping screw on the main shaft, whilst set-up with an accurately levelled target on a tree at the end of the garden 20 Metres away. The set-up shown in the picture enclosed. As this sextant is quite a simple one with no frills, I had to adjust the relative light levels for the target with neutral density gelatine filters in front of the index glass, and additional light source illuminating the bubble chamber to obtain parity, and thus clearly see the bubble and target together. Getting to within a couple of minutes of arc was fairly easy. Douglas Denny. Chichester.
