to all interested in Bygraves: I am writing a paper on the Bygrave and German wartime HR series of position line slide rules to be presented at the IM2008 to be held in Royal Leamington Spa near Birmingham, UK on 19-20 September. For full information on IM2008, see http://sliderules.lovett.com/uksrc/index.html, then click the link to IM2008. The paper will be part of the proceedings, available to all participants and likely to be for sale afterwards. There will be a wealth of information in this paper, much the result of my own research over the past year and never published before. Owners of Bygrave or HR1, HR2 or MHR1 slide rules are kindly requested to send me information on their specimen which I would like to include in the paper. Please contact me off list.
