I usually check the “other” seller items to see if maybe:
-the item I’m interested in is the only goodie in a collection of doll clothes and maybe a real find or,
- there are multiple copies of the “vintage” goodie for sale and maybe he had a container full and an antiquing setup in the back yard.

I noticed that this seller has a variety of interesting stuff but an unusual number of items had written appraisals.

I didn’t catch the detail that you did of an extensive museum quality collection hitting the market. He has some nice goodies - probably priced fairly.
