Re the current discussion of the Mason-Dixon Line, is that the same Mason-Dixon Line that one read of in American history, back when I was a traveling type, I once noticed the following, which sort of surprised me.
Heading South on Route 2 in West Virginia, there is a distance of about 50 miles between Wheeling and Sisters ville, I came upon a small stone monument/placard that stated that The Mason-Dixon Line passed through or quite near that particular spot. I would have thought that the M-D Line would have been further to the South. Surprise.
