Count me in for the Mk. 1 NSR. Seems this just might become your new job ;)

Also, I stumbled upon an Instructables page which mentioned that the May 2006 issue of Scientific American contained an article titled "When Slide Rules Ruled". It had a neat cut-and-fold diagram which allowed the reader to make his/her own slide rule out of paper and cellophane tape. The online version had the diagram attached as a pdf. I would attach it here, but apparently S.A. is now charging $8 to view the article and I wouldn't want to break any copyright laws*. I tried making one and it was very easy and turned out rather well. I was just thinking that this might be a much cheaper way to test prototypes of the Mk. 1 NSR. The scales could be arranged as in the pdf, then printed and tested for pennies.

At any rate, I'd still gladly pay for a higher quality plastic or metal version. Just thought I'd throw this out there as food for thought.

*The Instructables page I linked to has the pdf right on the first page, and a Google search will return at least one link to a free pdf copy of the article in its entirety.
