Now that ost details are settled, it's time to start assembling the calendar of events and the list of papers and presentations for our navigation conference scheduled for November 3-5, 2017 at Mystic Seaport. Plan on about half an hour for a presentation with 15 inutes for questions after. EVENT TITLE:
Navigation Symposium: The History and Future of Celestial Navigation
SHORT DESCRIPTION:
A weekend gathering of practical navigators, experts in navigation theory, and historians of science devoted to topics in celestial navigation, both historical and modern.
WHEN AND WHERE:
Keynote speaker and opening events on Friday, November 3 (afternoon), presentations and papers throughout the day Saturday and Sunday November 4-5, 2017. Hosted by the NavList community and the Treworgy Planetarium at Mystic Seaport, Mystic CT USA.
COST:
$75 per person if paid by September 22, $100 after that date.
