    Frank,

    Yes, my fix on the globe was way off but that was the point.  Like you said, and I taught to my student pilots - you are never really lost.

    You know you are in the north Atlantic, not Africa or near Pago Pago, not near Madagasgar.  I was proving to myself that three tries is all you need.

    I know where my backyard is for I have fixed it's position many times so these games are fun for me.  My problem with this set of data was no starting point - so my use of the globe.
