Book dealt with a young American couple, who sailed off to Europe. They made it to Europe, bummed around a bit, till the gal latched on to a better ride. Her ex boyfriend opted to sail back to the U.S. He made it part way, but his little boat sank out from under him, he being rescued, at the last moment by a Lykes Bros.vessel. Sad to note, I remember neither the author's name, nor the books title. A passing note, I first saw a comment on the book in Ocean Navigator magazine several years back.
