Some of the text appears in Worsley’s book “Shackleton’ Boat Journey” that I had excerpted or the log. There are differences however
Diary: “rating my chronometers”
Book: “rating my chronometer”. Elsewhere in the book he only refers to it in the singular.
Diary: “12m52(?)m slow and loosing 7seconds a day”
Log: “April 25th 12M0” slow losing 5 sec”
