We all know Carly from her keen interest to learn more about celestial navigation. I don't know how many of us, however, are aware that Carly is an accomplished artist, with many of her works taking inspiration from nautical - even navigational - themes.
She even has one series of pieces that were "inspired by the writings of French solo sailor
Bernard Moitessier and referencing the instructional diagrams found in ‘Weather for the
Mariner’ and various volumes of the British ‘Admiralty Manual of Navigation’".
She lives in a tiny community on the very outer edge of the west coast of Canada, but has exhibited her works in London, New York, Toronto, Montreal, Nova Scotia, and New Jersey.
