I forgot to mention in my last message that the drawback to using the TI is that, when entering degrees and decimal minutes, you have to use a menu to pick degrees and minutes symbols (two key presses for °, and another three for '). The Casio has the advantage here, using only one key press for each. Although, IIRC, you cannot enter decimal minutes with the Casio, only seconds. A very minor annoyance, to be sure (especially when you've gotten used to converting tenths in your head)...but it's still an annoyance, for me anyway. Still, the Casio wins, requiring only eight key presses to enter something like 45°12'18 (no seconds symbol required) as opposed to the TI's eleven key presses for 45°12.3'.

Also, the TI has the ability to review and edit pevious entries. This can be a big time saver and helps to avoid errors when doing many similar calculations, such as when reducing multiple sights.
