Jim, FS2020 is tottally new compared to FSX and has no cel nav that I am aware of. Don't know if it has accurate stars or not. Honestly FS2020 has been a dissapointment for me so I haven't been using it much. The graphics are amazing and its really cool to fly over your house and see it modeled semi accuratly but other than the graphics I don't know if you can say its that much of an improvment over FSX. The multiplayer sucks, when you are flying with friends their plane's don't show up because of some glitch they havn't fixed so you just fly by yourself and pretend they are there. There is no shared cockpit, its pretty much impossible to try and fly the jumbo jets in any satisfying manner. I was hoping for more when I shelled out $120 for it. When it was released there was no option to use VR (half of sim pilots use VR, MS said they weren't aware people flew in VR) so MS has been struggling to get a VR version up and running rather than fix all the other stuff thats broken with it. I've been doing all my flying in my Hornet on DCS so FS2020 just sits and collects digital dust on my hard drive. My flying buddy and I still bust out FSX when we want to do some old school flying. We have attempted Earhart's Lae to Howland leg several times with no better luck than Earheart and Noonan had. I can link you the relevant web pages to install and work the sextant if you ever decide to give it a try. My shoes are indeed brown. ;)
