That was me Robert.  Probably about the end of July.  I do not have a
digital camera but did drawings and sent them off list to the person who was
interested.  For the life of me I cannot find the native CAD file of the
drawing or PDF.

The main idea was to cut out the layer of foam nearest the top lid so the
mirrors and shades no longer made contact.  A piece of rigid round floral
Styrofoam had a piece of wet suit, fabric side out, adhered to one end of
the foam.  The foam "rod" was cut to length to give *slight* pressure
against the 'top' of the frame.

This is similar to the box my Astra came in. The frame is supported from
below, with the legs stopping any lateral motion.  The shades, mirrors,
scope etc. float free in air.  The leg from the lid to the frame prevents
the sextant from moving off the lower support base.

I will continue to look for the drawing, and try to get a photo in the next
week or so.  If the person I sent the drawing to off list retained it,
please send it to me off list and I will forward to Robert.
