G'day Bill,
I was toying with the idea of using the 3M product I used on my boat to seal
and secure the rubbing strakes. The stuff is pretty amazing and strong as
hell.
I thought about ABS cement too and might test a drop on the outside of the
case and see what happens. My case is also an underwater kinetics unit so
the ABS might work. But I wonder how it would react to the foam post. The
stuff is pretty nasty!
I will stew on this before leaping and when I come up with something, I will
let you know how I make out.
