"Repairing Motorcycle ABS Saddlebags: There is a very easy repair available at
Home Depot or similar stores. Oates ABS plastic pipe glue. It is in the plumbing
section. It is a very thick black plastic that dries without heat. "
Which reminds me, last time I was at HD looking for epoxy putty, I need
something white for aesthetic reasons instead of hte usual plumbers' gray. Sure
enough, white with a pale blue core (turns white on curing) expoy putty marked
as specially for "plastic piping of all kinds" and it stuck on polyprop, which
usually pops right off. Maybe they've figured out a good "primer" for ABS by
now, and this stuff has it.
