I only recall that John Wayne was a naval officer (but not the captain) on a USN warship. WW II era film.
Does anybody know the name of the movie that Jackson McDonald is referring to in his 23 Mar 2015 message? The one where "John Wayne looks through the sextant, lowers it, and then reads latitude and longitude right off the instrument." I've now watched several John Wayne movies from that era and can't find the scene. Thanks,
