    Hello!

Just watched the "All is lost".

Since nobody (of those who said the film is full of errors) bothered to elaborate - I dare to tell my opinion.

    • his error number zero: he did not wear his live-jacket when working "outside", he was not always secured to the railings
    • his other error number zero as well: did not posess a PLB+EPIRB
    • error number one: did not have a spare walkie-talkie
    • he should have had a portable desalinator, like a Katadyne Survivor 06
    • the rest could be lived with

With my non-existing exerience I cannot say anything about his weathering style (was he "hoving to" or not, etc) or the sail-handling.

The CN bit was too little for my liking, he never touched the index arm clutch or rotated the drum.

Saying that - I liked the film, this is the story that could/would happen to me if/when I go sailing alone.

    Warm regards,
    Tony
